Sous Chef – Albertine
The Sous Chef will join a team of two other Sous Chefs to work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional, high-quality cuisine that meets high standards. This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining consistency, and ensuring an elevated guest experience through precise execution and leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Culinary Execution
- Prepare and present dishes to exacting fine dining standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Oversee plating and final presentation during service

Kitchen Leadership
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks
- Lead service in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Foster a disciplined, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture

Quality Control
- Maintain strict food quality, freshness, and presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Operations Management
- Assist with scheduling and labor management
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of all ingredients

Service Excellence
- Coordinate timing and communication between kitchen and the front-of-house
- Handle high-pressure service periods with precision and composure
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant
- Strong knowledge of classical and modern culinary techniques
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
